Many clubs have been using Gildenburgh Water near Peterborough for years, and last year a lot more schools switched from other sites for the usual reasons - low prices, plenty of training platforms, better viz, no algae bloom, parking close to the water, no long queues, no early mornings, great food and lots of facilities. The benefits were too attractive – even though, in some cases, it meant driving a few miles further than to their previous site.
For 2012 things are even better!!
- Dive clubs can now enjoy the benefits of membership without their instructors, trainees or divers having to pay out for expensive cards. You just have to register – which is FREE. And there is no commitment – you can continue to use other inland sites for variety.
- Instructors, trainees and divers of registered clubs get entry for just £11 on organized training days – £2 less than the casual users.
- Our special “After 1pm” afternoon dive programme (on any day when we close at 5pm) and “After 5pm” evening/night dive programme on Fridays reduces the club rate to just £7! Watch out for extra evening opening throughout the summer months.
- Registration is also valid at our sister site, Dosthill Quarry near Tamworth, which has even lower rates and lots of improved facilities.
Important Note. The reduced entry rates only apply to organized training days when you have notified us in advance. Private diving is at the usual rate depending on whether the divers are members or non-members of the site.
